On the research front, quantum computing has become extremely important in the field of computer science. Initially, I would like to analyze complex nature of entanglement and characterize the non-local correlations in multi-qubit states. Moreover, I am also interested in developing algorithms and cryptographic protocols which shall be resistant to classical as well as quantum mechanical attacks. I would like to establish a group of Quantum Information and Computation. The group will be interacting with other groups in India and abroad for possible collaboration and research. In years to come, I wish to see Central University of Punjab as a leading institute in quantum computation.
